Entry (9th - 14th) During this period the Battn remained in Brigade Support and was called upon to provide daily working parties for work in the Brigade Sector under RE supervision. One Coy was wholly employed with the 174th Tunnelling Coy RE carrying away spoil from a Battn HQ dugout which was being made at C.17.6.90.60. Other parties 5 in number, were provided at dusk daily for carrying RE material from LAGNICOURT DUMP to forward dumps. Another party was engaged upon the erection of a Cookhouse in EDINBURGH SUPPORT, while the Battn Pioneer Platoon was employed upon sinking shafts for a new Coy HQ in the New Support Line in the right front line Battn's Sector. This platoon remained in the line to continue his work when the Battn was relieved by the 2nd S Lancs Regt on the evening of the 14th. This became the Brigade in Divisional Reserve. The Battn was billeted in No 6 Camp East of FAVREUIL.
