Entry (30th -31st) During these two days the Battn was in Bde Support, furnishing parties from all Coys, except the Keeps Coy, for work under RE supervision. These parties were provided for the 130th Fld Coy and for the 251st Tunnelling Coy RE. The former parties worked in the Support and CTs in the Bde sector on trench repairs, the erection of elephant iron shelters, the construction of M Gun emplacements etc. Reinforcements arrived as follows :- On 24th 3 other ranks. On 27th 50 other ranks. On 30th 3 officers, (Lieut E G White, 2nd Lieut F G Pitt, 2nd Lieut A Jenkin), and 13 other ranks. The Battn's Fighting Strength on this date was 40 officers, 776 other ranks.
