Location Belgium, [Zillebeke Lake]
Entry (4th & 5th) During these two days the Battn remained in Bde Reserve at ZILLEBEKE LAKE. On the morning of the 4th the vicinity of the dugouts was shelled by 8" Hows and there were three casualties, 2 killed and 1 wounded. Subsequently the enemy's artillery was quiet. On the evening of the 5th the Battn was relieved by the 8th LN Lancs Regt and went back to VANOUST CAMP near DICKEBUSCH where it remained until the morning of the 8th. On the 6th and 7th short Coy parades were held in the mornings for Bayonet Fighting, Bombing, Arm Drill etc.
