| Entry | (1st & 2nd) In the trenches. During these two days the Battn continued to hold the line at the Western edge of INVERNESS COPSE. There was little shelling of the front line but the back area, SANCTUARY WOOD, MENIN Rd etc received intermittent attention. Our artillery was considerably more active upon the forward and rear systems of the enemy's defence. |
