Entry 30th - 31st) On the afternoon of the 30th the Battn embussed from STEENVOORDE area to ASYLUM, YPRES. From there they marched to front line, CLAPHAM JUCTION Sector, via SANCTUARY WOOD, relieving the 8th York & Lancs. B team was left in the STEENVOORDE Area under Capt Gingell. On the march up to the line the Battn sustained the following casualties, 2 killed, 6 wounded, 1 wounded still at duty and one shell shock. Capt Turner of C Coy was badly wounded by an enemy sniper on the 31st. The disposition in the line was A Coy on the right, B in the centre, C on the left, N of the MENIN Road and D in support.
