| Entry | Early in the morning a warning order was received to the effect that the Bde was being relieved by the 8th Div and would be taken to STEENVOORDE by busses [sic]. At 8a.m. a warning order was received to be prepared to move at short notice to the HALF WAY House dugout, followed half and hour later by the order to carry out this move. This was completed by 12noon. On arrival at HALF WAY HOUSE the Battn came under the orders of the GOC 74th Bde. Orders were received from the 7th Bde to the effect that the Battn would be relieved by the 2nd Lincolns. In the meantime almost the entire Battn was out carrying rations to the Battns in the line at [no place name given] |
