Entry B Coy proceeded to ST. MARIE CAPPEL near CASSEL for a six day's Musketry Course. The other three Coys held parades upon their own grounds, the usual programmes being followed. The final of the inter-platoon football was played: A Coy No 4 Platoon defeated C Coy, No 10 Platoon by 1 goal to nil. The cup was presented to the winning team by the BGC 7th Inf Bde. On the same afternoon 100 other ranks of D Coy were required for work under the Ordnance Officer of the New Zealand Div at PAPOT near NIEPPE, S of the BAILLEUL - ARMENTIERES road. The party was required for unloading ammunition and was kept at PAPOT for the remainder of the month.
