Location | Belgium, Ploegsteert Wood |
Entry | (19th - 21st Feb) In the trenches. During this period the Battn remained in Bde Support: no fatigue parties were called for, and so it was possible to hold short Coy parades in the mornings. On the afternoon of the 20th, C Coy was moved up to ST ANDREW'S DRIVE into close support to the left subsection Battn, the 3rd Worcs Regt in consequence of the withdrawing of one of their Coys for duty at the Divisional Inf School. On the 20th, 2nd Lieut D F Brown rejoined the Battn for duty. On the 21st officers of the 2nd Battn New Zealand Rifle Bde reconnoitred the Battn Area in view of the Bde relief which was to take place on the following day. |
