Entry A quiet day during which the usual trench work, sandbagging and draining was carried on. In the early morning one man was killed by an enemy sniper. 24191 Pte Jones, E of A Coy. Another was wounded, but remained at duty. 31581 Pte Warder, C C. The following officers joined the Battn for duty. 2nd Lieuts C H Atkinson and G S Clarkson. 2nd Lieut (late CSM) G B Hillings.
