The was a combined artillery and trench mortar bombardment on the left edge of the Battn sector about midday: damage was inflicted on the enemy's fire and front line and CTs. The retaliation was not heavy and caused no casualties: then artillery and trench mortars fired only upon the right and left Coy fronts. Otherwise the day was quiet. |
