Location Belgium, Le Bizet
Entry (14 th - 18th) During this time the Battn remained in Brigade Support. No incident of any note happened on the Brigade front. In the mornings the two coys at LE BIZET held parades for physical training, bomb throwing instruction and box respirator drill. The whole Battn was able to have baths and was fitted out with the box respirator which took the place of one P H helmet. Small drafts arrived for duty with the Battn at the following dates:- 15th. 50 other ranks, 17th 8 other ranks. There was one casualty, on the 15th. Pte Parkes, H. (D Coy). On the 14th Lieut J McDonnell left the Battn for duty with the 7th Brigade Trench Mortar Battery. On the 16th & 17th other ranks from A Coy left the Battn for permanent work with a Prisoners of War Company, Capt J Reader being in command of the party. CSM Thomas, WG was slightly wounded but remained at duty . Reinforcements arrived: 2nd Lieuts Watkinson, LH and Gibson, HW and 4 other ranks.
