Regiment 1st Wiltshire
Location France, Hamel
Entry Trenches. The day was quiet, the enemy shelled Old Front Line with trench mortars in the evening. Work was carried on as on previous nights. Patrols were sent out on the right and kept touch throughout the night with Battn on the fight. More men went back owing to the gas of previous night.
