Entry From PENIN the Battn continued its march at 8a.m. and arrived at BARLY, NW of DOULLENS at 3p.m. Only two men fell out en route and they rejoined the Battn later in the day. Divisional Orders announced the following awards for conspicuous gallantry in the trenches NE of NEUVILLE ST VAAST on the 3rd, 4th and 8th May when hostile mines were exploded in front of the trench held by D Coy. 2nd Lieut Sainsbury Military Cross Sgt Collier F Military Medal The half yearly gazette also announced the awards of Distinguished Conduct Medals to CSM Wood, T and L/Cpl Staples, J for continual good work in the trenches E of YPRES during the latter half of 1915.
