Entry During the night of the 6th/7ththe Battn was again active with bombs, rifle grenades and Lewis rifles and fire was directed behind Albany Crater where work was heard in progress. Throughout the day the enemy's attitude was exceedingly quiet and scarcely a shot we fired: so little did the enemy show himself that only one was sniped. Work was continued on the fire steps and parapet of P line and Pirates. There were five casualties:- wounded, Ptes Palmer, B Coy, Reynolds, C Coy, Davis, Baldwin and Bray, of D Coy. 2nd Lieuts Horncastle and Richard joined the Battn for duty from the Cadet School GHQ.
