| Entry | In the trenches. In the morning some registering took place on the trench railway dump in the Quarries. Enemy snipers were inactive : one was shot. Work consisted of cleaning trenches and repairing and replacing duck walks. At night the Battn was relieved by the 8th LN Lancs, and went into Divisional reserve at ACQ. Two men were wounded by bombs. L/Sgt Bennett J and Pte Martin, both of D Coy. Pte Farley T was wounded by rifle shot. |
