| Entry | Mining fatigues went on throughout the day. One NCO and 1 man of D Coy were gassed in one of the saps through a pump breaking down - Cpl Cullinan F M, and Pte Smyth R. Enemy's attitude was quiet. Weather very wet. Lieut Col Brown took over temporarily the duties of Brigade Commander, and Major Kincaid Smith took over the command of the Battn. |
