Entry The Battn relieved the 11th Lancs Fusiliers in the support line NE of LA TARGETTE. It was preceded in the morning by an advance party consisting of the first relief of the working parties. There were no casualties in the course of the relief. The work taken over consisted mainly of carrying for both French and English mining companies in the front line and this work continued day and night by means of a series of reliefs, which were each of about eight hours duration.
