Entry There was a Battn attack at OUTTERSTENE and a route march. Sports in the afternoons. Capt T M H Kincaid Smith (R O 1 x Lancers), APM of 2nd Cavalry Division joined the Battn and took over the command of D Coy. At 7.20p.m. orders to move were received the destination given was OUDERDOM in the 5th Corps area. At 8.45p.m. the Battn was in the road ready to move to the Bde starting point, which it reached just three minutes late. At 9.55p.m. the whole of the Bde was closed up only to discover that they were engaged in practising a night concentration. The Battn then returned to its billets.
