Entry Physical exercises and company training: in the afternoon the company final at football was played. D Coy defeating A by 1 goal to nil. In the morning a fatigue party, 100 strong went to Strazeele Station to unload R E stores. Heavy artillery heard in the distance from 4a.m. until 10p.m. Pte Vines died suddenly during the night, has was the oldest soldier in the Battn, having 22 years service.
