| Entry | 170 men of the Battn proceeded to the Divisional Technical School Field NIEPPE, to be put through gas under the supervision of the Chemical Division. Altogether 1500 men assembled for this purpose but nothing beyond the ambulance appeared. After waiting for two hours in the field the party returned, ungassed. Fatigue parties were provided by the Battn in the evening for work of the breastwork behind trench 121. Weather colder. |
