| Entry | Quiet day in trenches, much work done draining CT trenches; transport was shelled, as enemy fired at two of our 6" guns 300 yds away. Seven 8" shells fell in transport field killing 2 horses and wounding 3 men and 7 horses. Orders were given for transport to move to another site. |
