On 15 July 1814, Ireland, Cork. 2/66th portion of First Provisional Battalion landed at Cork and marched to Middleton Barracks. The 2/66th portion of First Provisional Battalion embarked at Cork on 27 July and landed at Portsmouth. It briefly moved to the Isle of Wight during November. In January 1815 it sailed for St Helena.
