Seated from left to right are Private Norris, L/Corporal Scott, Sergeant Lester and Private Butchard. and, in the fron to row, Privates Clements, Randell, White and Baker. [The officers servants or Batmen would be drafted in to assist the officers mess permanent staff in the event of an officers mess function]
