View Item62nd Regiment - A pewter button of the 62nd Regiment circa 1780-1783 and a a fragment of an O/Rs shako plate (62nd Foot) for the period 1855-61; these items were reputedly found at Niagara, USA and presented by a W Culver Esq to a Lieutenant Colonel P S Brown who further presented them to the Officers of the 1st Battalion, Wiltshire Regiment, the successor Regiment to the 62nd of Foot, in December 1930. Thus we have two artefacts of the 62nd Regiment who served in North America/ Canada on two different occasions some 75 years apart. The two are framed in a frame which measures 7 x 7 inches.

View Item66th Regiment - A silver button, mounted on wooden block with silver corner pieces and inscribed. 'Presented by Captain A H B Thurst Manchester Regiment'. It was found at St. Helena in 1901 by a Boer prisoner of war. The 66th Regiment had previously been garrisoned there as a Guard for the Emperor Napoleon from 1816 to 1821.
