| Entry | ROBECQ, LES AMUSOIRES LINE. At dawn, after a heavy bombardment the enemy attacked our new line held by the 2/5th GLOUCESTERS. He was completely repulsed and left 5 Officers and 64 OR's as prisoners in our hands besides suffering heavy losses. After this fruitless attack the enemy kept very quiet for the rest of the day. Commencing at 9pm the 2/4th R BERKS relieved the 2/4th OXFORD and BUCKS LI in the Line, relief being reported complete by 11.10pm. During the day we sustained casualties to Other Ranks of 1 Killed and 5 Wounded. |
