| Entry | At 4am the Artillery on both sides were extremely active on the RIGHT of our Divisional Boundary, fire approximating to drum-fire continuing until 4.45am. No attack materialised and remainder of the day passed without incident. Work was carried on during, the night under RE Supervision, also wiring of our Left Coy, Advanced Posts and improvement of Trenches. "A" and "C" Coys, relieved "B" and "D" Coys, respectively at 9pm. "B" and "D" Coys taking over Billets at the ASYLUM. |
