Entry Another bright day with excellent visibility. Our artillery showed increased activity. Aeroplane Photographs taken a day or two previously showed suspicious objects about 2 miles behind the enemy line on our sector. A Shoot by our Artillery was carried out during the afternoon. One small fire was started and 4 ammunitions dumps observed to explode. Orders for Three Fighting Patrols to go out on the night 12th/13th and 1 observation patrol to go out on the 13th were issued. The Three night patrols did not encounter any enemy parties, but brought back information on:- Routes and Direction Marks across NO MAN'S LAND. State of the ground between the lines, and also Position of Enemy Machine Gun and Posts.
