Entry To assist the 1st Corps who were ordered to advance up right bank of TIGRIS, the Brigade moved off at 5.45 a.m. to make a demonstration to distract the enemy's attention. We were observed and a few shells were fired without causing any casualties; we moved out about 5 miles remaining until dusk and returning to DAUDIE at 8 p.m.
