| Entry | Preceded by heavy bombardment the South Wales Bord's and R. Welsh Fus. attacked the Dahra Bend position 25 of the Battn Grenadiers went forward to assist the S. Wales Bordrs and did excellent work being complimented on the splendid way in which they effectively dealt with the enemy bombing parties. Many prisoners were taken and when the 14th Divn attacked later in the day, the whole enemy position was in our hands and approximately 2000 prisoners were captured. Casualties O.R's 18 wounded. |
