1st Bn, Wiltshire Regiment - A black and white photograph of the survivors of the Gloucestershire Regiment marching into the Battalion's barracks in Hong Kong when stopping off whilst en-route to England after their operations in Korea. The Battalion hosted the Glosters during their time in the colony. The third soldier from the left is identified as Sergeant Goodall MM (Military Medal). We believe he was an Ex Wiltshire Regiment soldier. [In 1951 Lieutenant Carter took 100 men from the Battalion to reinforce the Glosters in Korea, some were killed and some were awarded gallantry medals. Some of those soldiers were in this returning group]
