66th Regiment - A sepia photograph of the officer?s servants in the late 1870s in India. This photograph was taken from the personal collection of Colonel John Ready and is believed to have been of his servants. Their names are not known, and it is not known if the ones shown accompanied the Regiment to Maiwand in 1880.

66th Regiment - A sepia photograph of the reformed band at New Barracks Gosport 1881. Nine of these bandsmen are wearing the Afghanistan Campaign medal. It is believed that Band Sergeant Connolly is stood on the left. The officer in the centre is Lieutenant Granville De la Motte Faunce who commanded the smooth bore battery in the battle of Maiwand.
66th Regiment - A sepia photograph of Bobbie, the Regimental mascot who survived the Battle of Maiwand in 1880, and who returned to England with the Regiment. He is pictured here after being presented to Queen Victoria in 1881. He was not presented with any medal by Queen Victoria but is wearing some sort of medallion. (This is not the decoration he currently wears and displays in the Regimental Museum).
