The Battalion had been split into two during this tour, with one half based at Alexandra barracks in Dhekelia, as part of The Eastern Sovereign Base Area (ESBA) Det. The other half as United Nations troops, at various locations along the green line, with its HQ at St Davids camp. Halfway through the tour, these 2 detachments swapped locations.
