1st Bn, Wiltshire Regiment - A copy of an article from the Soldier Magazine, dated February 1959, relating to the Battalion's tour in Cyprus. The item is entitled ?The Springer?s Pounce? and contains three photographs showing Lieutenant D Wills, Corporal C Edwards and Sergeant H Ball.

He names every soldier, what events they took part in, who they competed against and if relevant this times during races.. In addition, there is a letter dated 19th March 1941 from Lord George Scott of the 18th Hussars to Colonel Foley, plus a copy of a congratulatory memorandom to Major F.W.N. McCracken from Colonel Erroll, C.S.O Cavalry Division, dated February 6th 1900.
Berkshire Volunteer Rifle Corps√?¬† - A bound volume containing Minutes of meetings, the results of competitions, newspaper cuttings, letters, and other reports. The cover of this volume bears the legend 4th Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment. This was started by Lord Wantage VC and later presented to the 4th Battalion by A.J. lloyd Esq of Lockinge. It commences in 1860 when the battalion was formed and consists of many newspaper reports and accounts of Rifle meetings and Range days in the 1860s. Many of those taking part in many capacities are named. An extent document for anyone making a study of this Unit.√?¬†

43rd Wessex Division - A file of papers collected by Captain P W Rundle (5th Bn Wiltshire Regiment) He served with the battalion 1940 -1942, followed by an appointment as the Intelligence Officer for 129 Brigade of the Wessex Division. In 1945 - 46 he served at the 43rd Wessex Division College. The file contains many newspaper clippings telling the story of the Wiltshire Battalions and the 43rd Division. There are a number of intelligence papers on the state and make up of the German Army and an interesting collection of Nazi propaganda leaflets.
Wiltshire Regiment - A scrapbook/photo album which belonged to Colonel H M Carter and which appears to start in 1892 but is mainly concerned with the Boer War of 1899 to 1902. There are a number of letters and documents written in Dutch. The book is in a poor condition and many of the items are just tucked into the pages rather than being stuck in; it had been started from both ends! [Most of the photograpghs inside have been seperatly copied and listed. Other imasges are not good enough to copy]
