2nd Bn, Wiltshire Regiment - A diary kept by Sergeant Thomas King, which covers the Boer War in South Africa 1899-1902. The diary was written in an Army Book 136. It is so well-written that it must have actually been written, from notes made at the time, well after the event.
1st Bn , Royal Berkshire Regiment - The attestation papers for Regimental Sergeant Major 5787 William.J. King DCM. He was awarded the Distinguished Conduct Medal during the Battle of Loos in 1915. He joined the Regiment on the 20th February 1900. He was commissioned in 1916.

Wiltshire Regiment - A photocopy of the old country song ?The Fly be on the Turmuts?. This was the march of the Wiltshire Regiment and this was arranged by H. Millington, late bandmaster of the 1st Wilts R.V. and Western Counties Brigade. The photo on the front of the music sheet is that of a Mr King, a Trowbridge business man who owned a shop called ?Kings Variety?. He was a member of the Volunteers (later the 4th Battalion) who dressed as a ?Turmet hoer? when the bandmaster re-arranged or composed this march for the 4th Battalion. Mr King died before the 1st World War. (in some versions the term ?Fly? reads ?Vly?)
4th Bn, Wiltshire Regiment - A display copy of a letter from Buckingham Palace to Company Sergeant Major No. 1051929 Harry James Sparkes, it is undated. It is saying that King George VI very much regrets that he was unable personally to give the award of the Military Medal.

1st Wiltshire Regiment - A Certificate of Discharge for No. 3304 Sergeant Tom King, who attested at Devizes on 25th October 1892. He was discharged on 24th October 1913 in consequence of termination of his second period of engagement.
2nd Bn, Wiltshire Regiment - A letter sent from Warrant Officer P. I. King to the Curator of Wiltshire Regimental Museum in Devizes. It is regarding donating the belongings of his grandfather's (Sergeant Thomas King, who left the Regiment after 21 years of service in 1913), such as: a notebook in which he maintained a diary, two medals, his cane and his discharge record, to the Museum. The letter is dated 29th November 1973. There is a reply letter sent by the Curator of Regimental Museum to Mr. King regarding the Musuem's interest in having either as a gift or on a loan items listed in the previous letter; dated 3rd December 1973 and a letter sent to Lieutenant Colonel EAT Boggis form Warrant Oficcer PI King on 28th May 1074. It is regarding sending a parcel containing his grandfather's belongings. There is also a reply from The Musuem regarding the safe arrival of the parcel; dated 14th June 1974.
