SBYRW : 32011st Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment - A large photograph album consisting of 81 double sided pages maintained by the officers of the Battalion from about 1885 to 1930. There are images before 1885 in the book. The front cover has a metal china dragon attached, but the book is in a damaged condition with a broken spine. The images therein are all of a good quality and separately catalogued.

SBYRW : 34471st Bn, Duke of Edinburgh's Royal Regiment - A small photograph album containing 17 black and white images on 9 pages showing a short wreath laying ceremony at the Berlin South Western Cemetery located in East Germany on the 14th November, 1971.This cemetery contains the graves of 12 Royal Berkshire Regiment soldiers and 9 Wiltshire Regiment soldiers all of who died whilst prisoners of war during the 1st World War. SBYRW : 37972nd Bn, Wiltshire Regiment - A soft backed photograph album compiled by Major R.P. Culver relating to his service with the battalion in India and Shanghai, China 1922 to 1928. The images cover in the main group shots of various sporting teams within the battalion, and some of his family.

SBYRW : 37982nd Bn, Wiltshire Regiment - A pictorial souvenir booklet dated 1924 and published when the battalion was based in Bangalore, India. It was produced to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Regiment [The old 99th formed in 1824]. It consists of 29 black and white images plus a summary of the battalions history up to that date. It also includes images of the officers, sergeants and corporals from both the 1st and 2nd battalions in Gibraltar 1913 when both battalions met whist the 1st battalion was on route to England from South Africa, and visited the 2nd Battalion at that time based in Gibraltar. These images are named and we believe that most if not all would have still been serving, or called up as a recently demobilised reservist the following year in 1914. [Three copies]

In contains 41 pages with black and white images. Those of a military nature have been copied, the remainder that only show general views of the countryside, or unidentified buildings have not been copied.

SBYRW : 3918Wiltshire Regiment Depot - A hardback photograph album entitled 'Wilfred Book No 1'. This covers the period 1923 to 1930. It embossed on the front 'The Wilfred Book'. Wilfred was a stuffed rabbit which was presented to the misser of the highest number of catches during a Regimental Cricket Tour. One point would be deducted from each successful catch. Always presented at the end of the tour. [Includes early images from pre 1st World War matches - and Pre Wilfred]. [Wilfred was originally a children's pet in a daily newspaper and was presented by Colonel Gilson as, not only the Regimental team's mascot, but was award to the player who during a tour dropped the most catches]. The album also includes the names in local newspaper reports of who played in each match.

SBYRW : 394062nd Regiment and 1st Bn, Wiltshire Regiment - A very large Photograph Album in a poor condition containing 95 mainly sepia, but some black and white, photographs, primarily from 1867 but some from 1911 of Officers of the Regiment - but with a few photographs of Other Ranks at the back of the album. It was presented to their brother officers by Lieutenants George Pelham Hatch, Edward Cleary Hill, 2nd/Lieutenant Francis Macmullen and one other unidentified officer when the regiment was based at Morar in the Gwalior District in India in 1879. It consists of 66 pages with only half the pages of the book being used. The book was intermittently kept after the 62nd became the 1st Battalion.

It covers service in India, England, and South Africa. Inside on page 1 are the words ' Personal album of Mrs Dawes. Presented by her to Major GW L Richardson, The Wiltshire Regiment who presented it in turn to the officers mess, the Regimental Depot, 1954. [Mrs Dawes was the widow of Captain Dawes who was the first officer to be killed from the Regiment in the 1st World War. Captain Dawes kept a number of photographic albums during his service]
