SBYRW : 272081st Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment - A colour photograph of a family grave stone in Yatesbury Churchyard, Wiltshire. It includes an inscription to L/Corporal 7604 Charles William Hillier of 'D' Company. He was the son of Henry and Sarah Hillier, of Yatesbury, wilts and the husband of Ada phoebe Hillier. He was killed in action on the 19th September 1914 and has no known grave. He is commemorated on the La Ferte-Sous-Jouarre Memorial to the missing.

SBYRW : 508942nd Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment - A sepia photograph of the Corporals at Meerut, India, 1911. The only corporal identified in this photo is L/Corporal C.W. Hillier a member of the Pioneer Section. He is located in the 5th Row from the Rear, 4th from the left. Sat centre is the Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel R.N. Gamble DSO, and to his left Sergeant Major Quick.[We believe this was at, or about the same time as the battalion took part in the Delhi Durbar.]
