4/6th Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment - A black and white photo of the last Sergeants Mess Function at the Dragon Club, Reading in 1967. It featured the 'Last round fired on Japanese field gun' (Left to Right) Drum Major JONES, Tommy BAYNHAM, George WHITEWICK, Sergeant MATTENLEY, Sergeant PROUT, Pete READER, Colour Sergeant RHODES, Sergeant Les BECKLEY. A Thunder flash propelled a lemon through a glass door. The guns in question were captured and brought back to England after the 2nd World War from Burma. They are now outside the Regimental Museum at Salisbury.
