SBYRW : 366061st Bn, Wiltshire Regiment - A sepia photograph of officers from both the 1st and 2nd Battalions in Gibraltar, 1913 when both Battalions met for the first time as a County Regiment. When Battalions met like this there was normally a significant amount of cross posting between the Battalions whereby the younger members were posted to the overseas Battalion in this case the 2nd, and the older time expired men joined the Battalion returning to England, in this case the 1st. The officers in this image are named with the Battalion served in at this time.
