1st Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment - A black and white photo of 'A' Company Obstacle Race Team, winners of the 1929-30 Battalion Race. This photo is one of a collection of 14 of the Battalion found by a building contractor who was working on an unoccupied house in Aldershot and deposited by him at the Army Medical Museum there; three of the photographs are named and the original owner, L/Corporal Greenaway, has been identified by his being the only common denominator to these three photographs.

Wiltshire Home Guard - A black and white photograph of a Wiltshire Home Guard unit, taken outside the Red Lion Inn, dated October 1942. The location and people in this photograph were not originally named, but following an appeal on the Museum's website the pub was confirmed in August 2009 as the Red Lion, Castle Eaton, licensee Reginald G King, and the unit as the Blunsdon Platoon. The landlady at the time provided the information given here from a copy of the photograph in the pub which named all those present. All rows read from left to right. Top row:- W. Kemble, E. 99th Regiment - A sepia photograph of the graves of the men of the 99th at Euphorbia Hill near Fort Pearson. This was largely filled by those who died from disease rather than enemy action. Soldiers from the 99th Foot known to be buried here are Private C Baden who died 2 March 1879, Private N Jones who died 3 March 1879 and Private W Painter who died 13 March 1879. All three were in 'D' company and died from typhoid.
