1st Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment - A sepia photograph of the wreck of the ship H.M.S. Sultan which ran aground off Comino, Malta, 1889. Here, officers of the Battalion together with officers of the 42nd (Black Watch) hold a picnic on board the stricken vessel before it was salvaged. .
