Wiltshire Regiment - A black and white photograph of the Parade formed up in Salisbury Market Square on 3 December 1947 when the Regiment was awarded the Freedom of Salisbury. Number 1 Company was formed by soldiers from the 1st Battalion; Number 2 Company consisted of the Colour parties of the 1st and 4th Battalions together with the standards from fourteen branches of the Old Comrades Associations. Major Dutton MC commanded No 1 Company, Lieutenant Colonel Luce DSO commanded No 2 Company and Major Read No 3 Company. The parade as a whole was commanded by Lieutenant Colonel N Kenrick. The county cadets lined the parade ground.The 1st Battalion colour bearers were Lieutenant Etherington, Lieutenant Fairclough. The 4th Battalion bearers were Captain Brain and Captain Newton-Clare MC. The Bandmaster was Bandmaster Dalrymple, Parade Adjutant Major Royle, The RSM was RSM White, [No 1 Company RSM Davies, No 2 Company RSM Bull]

Carrying two of the Colours are Lieutenant Etherington and Captain Brain.

5th Bn, Wiltshire Regiment - A black and white photograph of the Brigadier, Officers and 1st reinforcements at Hawkhurst, in Kent in May 1944. This group also included 11 Canadian Officers who were attached to the Battalion for the forthcoming invasion of Europe.
