1st Bn, Wiltshire Regiment - A sepia photograph of the Regimental Colour parties and Standard bearers of the Old Comrade Branches at the freedom parade in the market place, Devizes at 5pm on Saturday 20th May, 1950. It shows the King's Colour, 1st Battalion, on the left, being carried by Lieutenant F J Stone (partly obscured), the Regimental Colour carried by Lieutenant Yiend (partly obscured), the King's Colour of the 2nd Battalion caried by Lieutenant R B Waymouth, the Regimental Colour carried by 2nd Lieutenant D Fladgate, the King's Colour 4th Battalion carried by Captain G G Drew, its Regimental Colour carried by Captain A Pickford plus the officers, from left to right, Captain R N Topham, Major R W Stephenson MBE and Lieutenant R W Reynolds. The officer in command of the parade was Major G Wort.
