SBYRW : 366022nd Bn, Wiltshire Regiment - A sepia photograph of the Battalion Cricket team that carried out a tour of Wiltshire in July, 1912. On this occasion it was during a game against a team put together by a Mr W.H. Laverton (possibly an old officer of the Regiment). In the rear row from left to right are Private Pike, Sergeant McCarraghar, Sergeant -?- and Sergeant Lyne. Seated from left to right are Lieutenant C.G. Bond, Lieutenant H F Wallis, Major Wyndham, Mr W H Laverton, Captain Dansey, Captain Gillson and Captain Henslow. Seated front left is Lieutenant Macnamara and front right Lieutenant P.S. Beaver. They played the following games 22nd/23rd July V Lavertons (Drew), 24th/25th V Lansdown (Lost), 26th July V Formby's (Won), 27th July Lavertons XI (Won)
