7th Bn, Wiltshire Regiment - Recollections and memoirs written by ex-Captain William Arthur Dixon in 1972. There is one handwritten and one typed version of a document entitled "The 7th Battalion The Wiltshire Regiment 1914-1918 War" and one handwritten and three typed versions of a document entitled "7th Battaliion The Wiltshire Regiment". They give description of Word War I and his life in Salonika between 1914 and 1918.

Wiltshire Regiment - Notes made by Captain N. L. Flower circa 1970. They include reminiscences of events from 1915-1919 and refer to his brother Lieutenant E. G. Flower. There is also a photocopy of a letter written to Mr. Suddaby by Mr. B. Flower, the son of Captain N. L. Flower, regarding his father's papers relating to the 1st World War. The letter is dated 17th February 1977.

6th Bn, Wiltshire Regiment - Various documents, which were found among other papers belonging to Major A. Garthwaite. They include handwritten recollections of events entitled "Narrative of attack on enemy's position about point X15c+d and consolidation of position north of la Boiselle - Contalmaison Road", dated 7th July (year unknown), handwritten "Narrative of operations from 21th to 28th March 1918" written by late Major Alan Garthwaite in April 1918. There are also 9 pages with handwritten notes made by Captain A. Garthwaite in October 1917, regarding history of the 6th Wiltshire Regiment from 1915. Finally there are 2 pages with typed notes, probably made by A. Garthwaite, entitled "The 6th Service Battalion The Wiltshire Regiment". They are concerning the actions taken by the 6th Battalion from 1914 to 1919.

6th Bn, Wiltshire Regiment - Recollections and memoirs in handwritten notes with made by late Major Alan Garthwaite, who joined the Battalion on 14th December 1915, in May 1912. They are regarding actions taken by then defenders of Grandcourt. There is a letter sent to Major Alan Garthwaite in 1948 which includes an article entitled "6th Wilts Old Boys, World War I Comrades Meet in London", reprinted from the "Wiltshire Times" dated 1st May 1948. There are also notes regarding the service of Major A. Garthwaite. Finally there is a menu of a dinner, held by The Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders on 26th February 1937.

Wiltshire Regiment - One page taken out from unknown publication with an article about Brigadier Edward Lancelot Luce, giving information about his life and service. There are two obituaries for Brigadier Edward Lancelot Luce who died at the age of 62 on 3rd June 1970. There is also a letter from Burges, Salmon & Co. Solicitors to the Treasurer of the Wiltshire Regimental Museum, sent on 14th December 1970. It is regarding the last will of Brigadier Edward Lancelot Luce, who left a bequest to the Museum of £100 and all his 8 medals. There is a reply to the latter letter written on 16th December 1970. Finally there are recollections of BAOR Battlefield Tour in June 1947, written by Colonel E. L. Luce.

2/4th Bn, Wiltshire Regiment - A photocopy of two articles from "Wiltshire Times & News" (Copyright). One of them is dated 26th March 1965 and entitled 'Fifty Years Ago, Memories Of The 2nd/4th Wiltshires', the reminiscences were written by Major E. S. C. Parsons and were regarding volunteers in the Wiltshire Regiment serving in the 1st World War. The second article is entitled 'How The 2nd/4th Wiltshires Sailed to India', it was also written by Major E.S.C. Parsons and was regarding the troopship voyage to Bombay. There are also two letters from Stanley C. Parsons to Colonel Boggis, dated April 1965, the Curator of the Wiltshire Regiment Musem at Devizes at that time. They are regarding the articles mentioned above.

99th Regiment - A newspaper cutting (Copyright) and a newspaper obituary resulting from the death of Sergeant Thomas Johnston in March 1928; at the time of his death he was the Veteran of the Regiment. He served for over twenty years from the late 1840s until 1869. There are three pages taken out from an unknown book or booklet, probably from Old Comrades Association Reports for 1923 and 1926. They include information regarding Sergeant Thomas Johnston. There is also a handwritten, incomplete autobiography of Thomas Johnston. There are two folders with documents.

62nd Regiment - Eleven letters from Sergeant W. Morris to Colonel Carter written between November 1891 and August 1892 regarding his service. They were sent during his stay in Bath and include recollections of events regarding Sergeant W. Morris's experience during the Battles of Ferozeshah and Sobraon. They were written for the readers of the Regimental Journal - there are two versions of this document, one handwritten and and one typed. The Museum also owns a diary, kept by him from 28th June 1844 to 8th April 1847, which is Object 22852.

2nd Volunteer Bn, Wiltshire Regiment - An account of life with the Company from this unit which was mobilised for the Boer War and attached, as "I" Company to the 2nd Battalion, Wiltshire Regiment. It goes into great detail on a day by day basis but appears to have been written after the event rather than being a diary written at the time. It covers the period from January 13th 1900 until May 1901 when the Volunteers returned to Swindon where they were feted and banqueted

1st Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment - Recollections and memoirs of Captain H Bestley entitled 'Reminiscences of an Old Soldier of The Royal Berkshire Regiment'. The memoirs are handwritten inside a lined notebook, H Bestley joined the Regiment in 1885. The document is 150 pages long and includes six photographs and two pen and ink sketches. The document is dated the 5th of August 1946, the location where the document was completed is given as Bernehurst, Kent. The document covers the period 1885 to 1914.
