62nd Regiment and 1st Bn, Wiltshire Regiment - A very large Photograph Album in a poor condition containing 95 mainly sepia, but some black and white, photographs, primarily from 1867 but some from 1911 of Officers of the Regiment - but with a few photographs of Other Ranks at the back of the album. It was presented to their brother officers by Lieutenants George Pelham Hatch, Edward Cleary Hill, 2nd/Lieutenant Francis Macmullen and one other unidentified officer when the regiment was based at Morar in the Gwalior District in India in 1879. It consists of 66 pages with only half the pages of the book being used. The book was intermittently kept after the 62nd became the 1st Battalion.
