4/6th Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment - A black and white photograph of soldiers on exercise 'Autumn Crocus' France 1961. Warrant Officers and Sergeants 'liaise' with their French counterparts, Sergeant Wailes, Colour Sergeant Timms, Company Sergeant Major Baynham, Company Sergeant Major Reader, and Company Sergeant Major Wyatt. Most of the Territorial Army Annual exercises took place in England, so the opportunity to operate in France was welcomed. The red 'Brandywine flash' worn behind the China Dragon Cap badge is proudly displayed.
