1st Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment - One of 53 photographs catalogued from the over 100 contained in a photographic album/journal from the period 1942-1946 compiled by Private S J Day; this black and white photo shows Captain Golledge, the Battalion Medical Officer, who was later to be badly wounded and paralysed by Japanese shell fire, and Captain Harry Baker, the Motor Transport Officer (MTO), spending some leave time in Naini Tal in the Hills in 1943 following the Arakan campaign
