Unit unknown or none - Three colour photos of a memorial monument to various servicemen killed in the 2nd World War, presumably all from Northern Rhodesia in Africa, but mainly enlisted into British Regiments, as the monument is on the Zambian side of the Victoria Falls in that country; the names on the monument include Lieutenant Colonel J Carden of the Wiltshire Regiment and Captain H C Gouldsbury of the Royal Berkshire Regiment - the date of the photos is unknown.

1st Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment - A sepia photograph sent to the Battalion by the officers of the 15th Ludhiana Sikhs on the occasion of the anniversary of the ?Battle of Tofrek?, 22nd March, 1908. [This was the battle fought by the 1st Battalion Berkshire Regiment in the Sudan 1885 alongside the 15th Sikhs] The photograph includes officers from the 15th Sikhs and the 2nd Battalion Royal Berkshire Regiment (the old 66th) who at this time were stationed in India. . The officers are named but the other ranks are not; it shows in the rear row left to right, under the arch Major J.R. Carden (15th), Captain C.A. Vivian (15th) , Captain H.S.E.
