1st Bn, Royal Berkshire Regiment - A black and white photocopy of a photograph of Lieutenant Charles Reginald Taffs. He was killed in action on the 5th May 1915. He was the son of Leslie Hugh and Mary Ann Taffs, of "St. Aubins", Langley Road., Slough, Buckinghamshire. Prior to war he was a Company Sergeant Major at London University, Officer Training Corps. He was a member of Lincoln's Inn and His Majesty?s Civil Service. He was born at Lamerton, Tavistock, Devon. He is buried at Rue-Des-Berceaux Military Cemetery, Richebourg-L?Avoue.
