Royal Berkshire Militia - A black and white photograph of a painting of Sir Joseph Andrews of Shaw. He was born in 1726, the son of Joseph Andrews (who brought Shaw, 1749), by his first wife Elizabeth, daughter of Samuel Beard. He was promoted Captain in 1757 and Major in 1763, being created a baronet in 1766. He married Elizabeth in 1762 the daughter of Richard Phillips, of Tarrington in Hertfordshire.. He died in December 1780. He is wearing the uniform of the Berkshire Militia.
